Hayley Noelle Pettinato Singer/Songwriter Extraordinaire

Hayley Noelle Pettinato was born in 1996, predestined for a musical future. Stemming from a long lineage of talented musicians, it is no wonder young MENSA member Hayley picked up the ‘musically gifted’ gene! While able to play portions of Rachmaninoff and Liszt perfectly by ear on the piano as a toddler, Hayley’s crystalline soprano wasn’t discovered until she was ten. As her talent developed, Hayley joined a local choir, and her mom gave her voice lessons. Within a year it became apparent that Hayley’s talents far exceeded mom’s voice teaching capabilities. Enter Juilliard-trained world-renowned dramatic tenor and vocal coach extraordinaire, John Shackelford. Under his continuous nurturing tutelage, Hayley further develops her pristine sound and versatility, singing a variety of styles in various languages, including classical compositions. “The first song that really captivated me was Chloe Agnew’s WALKING IN THE AIR,” says Hayley. “This ignited a passion in me for Celtic Women music. I knew I had the same pure tone and vocal quality.”

While listening to a background track on a youtube video, Hayley stumbled upon what would become a primary instrumental musical influence. The artist behind the thumping dance beats was Israeli DJ Offer Nissim, featuring Maya. “His beats are infectious and memorable,” observes Hayley. “Ethereal vocals and memorable beats have become the foundation of my music.” The ‘domino effect’ for prolific poet Hayley began in the spring of 2009. For a Social Studies project on the war in Iraq, Hayley rewrote the lyrics to Anna Nalick’s BREATHE, called the song LEAVE, and recorded it. Not only did the project earn her an “A+”, it garnered the attention of triple-platinum award winning producer/songwriter, Frankie Vinci, when Hayley’s dad played it for him. A few weeks later, twelve-year-old Hayley was in Vinci’s studio, recording his original Celtic-inspired song REJOICE. A month later, she and Vinci began co-writing unique music infused with uplifting messages, optimism, inspired haunting vocal melodies and driving beats. The products of that venture to date are YOU SHINE ON ME, BRIDGES, and BREAK ME. Whatever the next domino may be, one thing is certain: budding diva Hayley is both a dynamic and graceful performer, capable of singing anything!
